Adam is from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is currently a student at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. Adam is the eldest son of Brent Cox. He got into racing because of his dad's passion for it. Adam has always loved sports he grew up playing Hockey and played for 12 years.
