Carmel, Indiana native Dillon Welch is a veteran broadcaster with NBC and former voice of USAC, who now competes part-time in USAC Midget competition. Dillon will make his midget debut with Abacus Racing at the 2023 Chili Bowl.

In his 9 appearances at the Chili Bowl since 2013, Welch has made the feature on two occasions, including the 2022 race. Dillon claimed a championship in the Kenyon Midget Series and a pavement midget win at the Milwaukee Mile.
