Abacus Racing and Kaylee Bryson team up again for USAC races in California and the 2026 Chili Bowl.

INDIANAPOLIS, November 20, 2025 Abacus Racing announced today that Muskogee, Oklahoma native Kaylee Bryson will be back behind the wheel of the #11 as a teammate to Logan Seavey for the USAC races at Bakersfield (November 25) and at Ventura Speedway (November 29) for the Turkey Night Grand Prix.  She will also be a teammate to NTT INDYCAR Series Driver Santino Ferrucci at the 2026 Chili Bowl.  She will have Indy Powersports as her primary sponsor.

Brent Cox, Team Principal, said working with Bryson has been a natural fit for the team.  “I have stated many times, that working with Kaylee was something as a team we always wanted to do.  Now that we have worked directly with Kaylee for a couple of years, I can say it is easy for us as a team to keep putting Kaylee in the car.  She fits right in with our personalities, and she does a great job behind the wheel.”

For the second year in a row, the team and Bryson have worked together at the BC39 at the Dirt Track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with racing in California and then the Chili Bowl.  It is a program that Kaylee has come to enjoy.

Stated Bryson, “I have a lot going on with my career, and so it is not always easy to find dates we can work together.  But, these races always seem to work with my schedule, so it is nice that we can make them happen.  It gets me some good laps in a midget with USAC, which is always nice as I have a lot of very positive history there.”

After the races in California, Bryson will race a micro in the Tulsa Shootout before her latest attempt at the Chili Bowl.  It is a good program to get her reacclimated with driving on dirt after becoming the first female driver to win Trans Am championships in two different classes, clinching this year’s XGT title a few weeks ago.

Continued Bryson, “I love that I get to drive so many different types of cars, but my career began on dirt, so always happy to get back to that.  But, it is not easy, so any laps I can get are good.”

In addition to her primary sponsorship from Indy Powersports, she will have support from Mission Roofing, Logical Systems Inc. (LSI), Design Service Solutions (DSS), Indy Fuel, CG CPAs, Indy Custom Stone, Forecheck Marketing and AP Driver Development.

Bryson has had success at Ventura, qualifying fastest in 2021 and leading laps while finishing fifth, and became the first woman in Chili Bowl history to qualify for the A-Main just a few months later.  Cox went on to say, “I said this last year, and I will say it again.  Kaylee knows how to win.  She is not coming to these races just to participate.  She wants to be up front.  We give her the car, she can do that.  I am very excited.”

Bryson agreed, stating, “I have had a lot of success on dirt, as has Abacus Racing.  So, we know as a team we can make it happen and run up front.”  Bryson continued, “It is tough.  This is some of the toughest competition you can face as a driver, but as a team we are ready for the challenge.”

The Chili Bowl Nationals begins on January 11, 2026 with practice, followed by five consecutive preliminary feature nights that ends with the final feature night on January 17, 2026.  All USAC and Chili Bowl races will be broadcast on FloRacing.

Abacus Racing is headquartered in Indianapolis and is just the second entrant in the history of USAC to win the USAC Triple Crown as an entrant.
